Our Eighth Annual Capoeira Batizado and Graduation ceremony is just around the corner. The week of evening workshops taught by guest capoeira masters and professors begins on Monday, September 19.

The Batizado will follow on Saturday, September 24 at 1:30 pm. It will be held at the United Methodist Korean Church of Astoria.

Formado Abará - New York City Capoeira

Formado Abará is a well-known Capoeirista that has been practicing and teaching Capoeira for over 18 years. Teaching in New York City, Abará has world recognition which has earned the respect and admiration from Capoeira groups all around the world.
